Happy PA Week

Dear Members,
It is my pleasure to wish you all a Happy Physician Assistant Week, and thank you all for your dedication to our profession. Each year this week reminds me what a privilege it is to be an advanced practice provider and care for our patients in plastic surgery. It is also a special time to honor each other and the people who paved the road before us.
Taking on this new role as president of our organization, I am excited to continue building on the great potential this group has alongside our amazing board of directors. In our last newsletter, we introduced a “members corner’ to regularly feature the great work our plastics PA colleagues do on a daily basis and share other exciting news in our profession. We encourage you to submit the work you are doing in our field or nominate a colleague to be featured for their outstanding work.
Other plans we look forward to are repeating our member’s only salary survey, featuring a calendar of educational opportunities on our new website, offering conference workshops, and improving our social media presence. As always we will continue our other resources, such as job postings, member meetings at our national conferences, and advocacy for our specialty through the AAPA and ASPS. We encourage you to contact us if there is any way we can better serve you as an organization.
